Please sign up for our email contact list so we can stay in touch with you. Emails will come from firstname.lastname@example.org. We only send 2-3 emails a year.
Don't forget to check out the photo gallery. I try to add photos as I get them. If you have a good photo of dad you want to send us, please email it over email@example.com. We will eventually be making a scrapbook.
Steve was laid to rest on March 9, 2013 at Honey Creek Woodlands, a natural burial ground owned and operated by the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, Georgia, about 45 minutes from Atlanta. Anyone is welcome to visit.

Hi. We are the Thacker family. We all live in Atlanta, GA and are blessed to have a closed knit relationship with each other. Though we have extended family scattered throughout the country who we love dearly, it has mostly been the four of us venturing through the last 32 years. We love one another dearly and are blessed to all live near one another.
On February 15, 2013, our loving husband and father died quickly and suddenly of a terrible disease called Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease (CJD). You can learn more about this disease at the link to the left.
We miss Steve (dad) terribly and always will, but know he is sending us smile and hugs from heaven and he would be telling us "chin up."
